This is shaping up to feel like 92. Rap was about explode in its Golden Age and Pat Riley was came in to save NYK from the regime of Stu Jackson. This week of course Phil Jackson signed on to become President of Basketball and bring his 11 Rings swagger to the Garden.

Also this side The Blackest White Guy in America Mike Rapport will debut his basketball doc “When the Garden Was Eden” . The movie is described as:

Rapaport’s movie looks at the Knicks teams that won a pair of titles in the early 1970s and includes interviews with Clyde Frazier, Willis Reed, Bill Bradley and — of course — Jackson himself.

Another account of the doc bye ESPN Films Director Libby Geist:

“an inside look at the captivating era when the New York Knicks were in their prime.” For now, that’s a deep period piece, or a science-fiction one.

Wow, cant wait for this to air on ESPN 30 for 20 series. More info on the Tribeca Film Fest —LINK
